Summary of the month :
August 2010 saw one of the hottest months on record, virtually no rain and very little swell. Summer is usually a time of small surf and this year is no different. The pictures show that 1000's and 1000's of people are at the beach every day and enjoying these conditions, it's time for - family, BBQ's, Chasing babes and boys, long boarding, SUP riding, beach parties.......
Best memories of the month:
1. A trip to Chitose reef in Chiba small day but lots of fun in board shorts.
2. Body surfing (with fins and hand ski) the shore break at Katagai in Chiba and getting barreled multiple times.
3. Camping on the beach in South Chiba and enjoying the Tateyama fireworks festival
4. Snorkeling the reefs around Katsuura.
Biggest Wave Ridden:
About a 3ft in the south of IZU.
