General Break Information

When this place is working its an amazing wave to surf and to watch

Also some call it "Iwaki Pipe" due to location and its barreling waves

This place breaks about as frequently as the real Pipeline and when its on it breaks HARD !!!

When its not working its not even worth paddling out, ON or OFF and No in between!

It barrels because the swells come into a steep beach and just throw, out and round right against the shore line in shallow water....It has been well documented in Japanese surf mags though because of its board snapping power. Even when it is pumping there are few surfers in the water and even fewer taking off.

To surf it you want to be very confident taking late drops and pulling into the barrel.

Again like the webcamra we doubt it will ever happen.
